"Harlot DeVille is a Dublin based performer and pin-up specialising in cheesecake,burlesque,noir & fetish. Fascinated from a young age by the glamour and etiquette of old Hollywood and classic burlesque,she has always had a penchant for the lifestyle of this era. A classically trained singer she has been performing renditions of Peggy Lee numbers since she could talk.Her work involves many different aspects of performance, having worked with various photographers as a pin-up model on different projects.Her first shoot was with the wonderful Eadaoin O'Reilly, she then went on to work with such talents as Rosco Waldron & Ben Murphy. She has featured in various publications,events, films, music videos and on television both in Ireland and abroad .
Her work in pin-up and burlesque led to her being described by Johnnie Craig of InDublin magazine as an "Uffizi of the senses".
In May 2008 she starred in the documentary short "Harlot with a Heart", directed & filmed by Aoife Kelly,Niamh O'Shea,Carol Friel and Emma Crinion.
Currently hosting and styling the DUBLIN BURLESQUE BALL, she has many exciting projects in the pipeline over the next few months. In August she will be working with photographer Loreana Rushe in preparation for the launch of her new website.
The short film "Taste" starring Harlot DeVille has just wrapped and will be premiering mid September before touring at international film festivals."
