I have a little book on Birds of the Greater Saltee Island on lulu.com. It's just a collection of pictures, but I may revisit it. Hopefully I'll get there again this year.
I've 2 ebooks on the back burner also: A strobist style book and a book on creating Web Galleries for Lightroom.

Music: I play Guitar and Bass, but can pretty much pick up an instrument and play-I'm pretty woeful on fiddle though!

ABOUT ME
I've been shooting properly for 7 years now. Started with film, but quickly went to Digital SLR. As DSLR users know, it can speed your development immensely.
I shoot Studio/Location and do Landscape and Commercial work also.
I write my own Lightroom Blog, along with contributing to Lightroom-News.com.


I've written for Photoshop User Magazine, Layers Magazine, and Professional Imagemaker. Along with my own book, detailed in the Books section.

I also develop plugins for Lightroom. My LRB Portfolio website in a gallery plugin in quite popular.

I'm expanding my shooting style and am constantly striving to learn more and pass on what I can.

I'm active in my local club Galway Camera Club and am vice-chairperson for the next season. I seem to be good at taking on too much.
I'm happy to allow images to be passed on to a proficient/proven retoucher.

Recently I was chosen SWPP Family Portraiture and Groups Society International Photographer of the Year 2008.

I was recently made an Adobe Community Professional.

I covered myself in cream bar my legs which never seem to colour ever.. Bad move. My calves are screaming red now. Got a few shots I'm pleased with, seeing as this is the first proper on the beach, in the sun, swimsuit shoot I've done.

I bought a Portfolio recently. Only it's called an iPad. This 'magical' device has the power of curiosity and an amazing screen to boot. Smile I suspect even a die-hard PC lover like yourself would feel the pull of it, if you just held it for a few moments :D

Furbo? You're way too close to down. Made a family day of it. Wife and son splashed in the water as I shot. Good times. Factor 40 plus got good colour and shots too. I know Emma. I'm guessing that's your nuclear ringflash at work. You should've rang when you were up, we could've had coffee.
