Chelby at Bpic
Posted On 27/04/2008 01:05:57 by eyesonly

Here's some of the pictures I took when Chelby came along to a 'studio night' at the Bpic camera club. Although we had studio lights, some of these are taken just using the light from a window (others with the studio lights and some with a combination of the two).

Chelby is a great model and lots of fun to work with...

Haven't been doing many photoshoots lately but am hoping to arrange some soon - especially now that the weather is starting to warm up a little!

1/20th without IS!!! You must be mad! Still, you seemed to have pulled it off, some great shots there. And the sports pics are pretty good too. You're becoming a well seasoned pro!

Kirth is right about the settings (on a 50mm lens). Of course they are
pretty silly settings - I've usually got fairly steady hands but 1/20
sec is really way too slow for reliable results. The iso should
probably have been set at 800, which would give a shutter speed of 1/80
sec.

The other pictures were taken with a 28mm-70mm tamron zoom.

Looking again, the colour balance might be a bit off on some of the pics - I was in a hurry at the time :)

Sorry didn't get a chance to reply earlier. Was away most of today photographing a bunch of blokes chasing a ball around....
