Dont know if anybody caught the docu on channel four last nite about Anna Winters from American Vogue,it was great to actually see the person behind the personna as i think she may just have got pigeonholed from the devil wears prada as being very stern, well she did come across as a bit aloof but on the all she knows what she wants and she gets it every time.
What was facinating for me was how she worked with Mario Testino on his shoot for Vogue, just imagine her looking over your shoulder whilst shooting...
Its def worth watching if they show it again as everyone from Models,Photographers, stylists and fashionista's would see how a high end editorial glossy pulls it all off.
hi,
it was fascinating to watch, Anna Wintour is incredible and puts everything into Vogue, it was such an interesting and inspiring documentary . She gives people hell but at the end of the day , its Vogue and you wouldnt expect any less.

They must be running stuff like this all week as there was another one on last nite about the diary of a model. It was great to see an Irish Model Siobhan Balfe on it who came across very well and sincere. She told it as it is and it was very interesting to see their take on money, career and those in the industry.
A must see for any aspiring model!

brilliant Doc but shows the side of the industry that most people hate. Very well worth the time though

Er, methinks you may have got your wires crossed!
The documentary that was on last night was Sara Ziff's "Picture Me" - there's been some discussion of it in this blog here. Oh and the Irish model featured in the documentary was Monaghan girl Caitriona Balfe!
This Model Life, that you linked to featured on C4 quite some time ago. I'm not sure if they plan on repeating it as I haven't seen it on the C4 programme listings for this week.
Awwh your right Thor, was rushing this mornin so just searched the site for the model ref and that came up,couldnt remember the name of it,ok back to planet cuckoo for me
God ur on the ball today!
