Do we have one in N.Ireland?

I just want to checkout the D-Lite range to see what the build quality is like.

I've got no idea if there is a dealership in N.I. I would have thought N.I. would be considered part of the UK from a dealership point of view and as such would be handled by The Flash Centre. Paddy Barker is the Irish importer and might be worth asking about this.

Alternatively, Ross (Brandyman) has these in the studio he and a few friends have set up, so he might be your best option. My own opinion is that I think the D-Lites are certainly up to the task, but if you intend to travel a lot with them you might be better of going for something sturdier like the Style series (or if you want to work away from a mains supply, get your hands on the Ranger kit - the downside to this is the cost).

As Thosten says.  I also know that Sheldon Long Photo Supplies in Dublin seems to be able to supply them too. Not sure if he gets them from Paddy or somewhere else.

I use D-Lite 4s, although there is no cooling fan on them,  they are capable of handling hundred shots or even more on a row without shutting themselves off due to overheating. Softboxes are ok, but if you are planning to use snoot, you can't use the modelling lamp as it overheats very quickly. They are light weight and easy to carry around. For outdoor shots I use a tronix explorer( http://www.innovatronix.com/) as a portable power supply and would recommend it highly if you are planning to use your strobes away from sockets.
