Can I suggest that once you are in a forum that the forum topics are in order of last reply ie.  the latest topic to be replied to is at the top. 

I think it may encourage people to look at more forum topics for current responses, rather than having to dig down multiple pages to a forum topic they were interested in to see if there are any updates to it. 

Or am I missing an option that allows me to do this already .....

I've said this in the past Gordon. I'm total agreement. The forums here are the opposite to every forum I've ever been on. It makes them much less useful.

The date format annoys me also Especially when it is the beginning of the month, and the date can be read as an American date or an international date! Just like today
