I'm so glad people are coming on board with the idea of a small Xmas get-together next Saturday, it's great at times like these when we're all so busy to remember we're al lfriends and how much fun we have together doing what we love (be it modelling or photography).
Since my post, which I was hoping wouldn't be taken as a rant or a moan, we've sold more calendars and I can't thank you all enough for that, i know it's a difficult time of year financially.
Last night I had a reality check about WHY I'm doing this... without publicly airing my home life, my Dad received a letter to say his specially adapted car will be repossessed as they don't think he's "disabled enough" to get mobility allowance.
Being stuck indoors was what made him depressed and suicidal in the first place and, after just last week being told he was in recovery and could leave counselling (and making plans to start volunteering as a counsellor himself for other men), he hit rock bottom again and we've all had a very sleepless night.
I hope none of you ever have to experience the trauma of a sleepless night making sure a loved one doesn't take their own life, especially at Christmas, but I just want you all to understand how grateful I am for your support
Thank you and I look forward to a night next week when i can let my hair down and enjoy the good things in life again....
