Seeing as the site bears a little resemblance to other social networking sites, can you embed flash widgets on the site?

I don't think you can, but I'm lookng for confirmation.

Well you should be able to embed through HTML, but it would need to be uploaded to another site and then linked.

If I Preview or edit this message, I can see the a little slideshow, but when you see it here in the window, it just inserts a load of Line Breaks instead.

Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that I have been accesing the site using my mobile only -reason why i haven't uploaded photos or updated my profile yet-, and no having flash widgets is a bit of an advantage; as this site has not been optimized for standar mobile access, and even specialized internet brownsers don't render flash widgets properly in mobile phones, but the way the site is right now works like a charm in my mobile.
Just thought you would like to know.
Ps. I use operamini as my web brownser in my mobile.

I suppose the phone is behind all the identical replies too :)

 

I've used opera mini on many phones, past and present. It simply ignores what it can't read...

With flash widget I hope it does not bring a deluge of jumping, flipping, flashing avatars. I kinda like the stillness of browsing still images.....free from wacky wonderment...I am already overcooked with that on the wider net.
