Don't know if anyone has seen this before. It's certainly my first time seeing this site. There are several such services out there but in my opinion, this has got to be one of the best. Some of the images have undergone radical transformations and it's really interesting to see how they started out. Makes me want to brush up on my PS skills in 2008. Take a look at http://www.retouchshoppe.com/ to see what I mean.

This is amazing. One thing that annoys me is that i have no idea how to use photoshop. I have it on my computer at home & when i scan pics on i usually just find the wee button that says 'one step photo fix' & press it. That's about as far as i get. LOL I have tried to fiddle around with things on it but really am no use with anything technical & think that it is one of those things that I can't teach myself, I need to be taught.

It's a pity as I would really like to edit my own images as I know I have some straight off the camera that could do with a little retouching to give them that little 'added extra'.

I don't know whether these displays of PS amaze me or scare me lol

I studied design at university and we did both Photoshop and Quark Express. I was very good at making posters/billboards etc on PS at the time but I haven't used it in over a year now so I'd need to get it for the new laptop to practice. Even then, I was better at graphic design than doing anything with photos, but it would be fun to try out, especially on ones self!!

Without photoshop the  ad, design and fashion industries consumption of alcohol would triple..... in attempts to calm the nerves and lessen the impact of a nightmare scenerio....producing images without retouching or manipulation......not that it never happened before with film but today it is a big part of the process in many studios....and what a wonderful, creative tool it is.

Many well known photographers now have within their location and set crews one or two photoshop wizards.

Could make a good horror movie  ' A world with photoshop'

I love it!!

impressive as it is, one must look at the quality of the original to see that there really isnt a lot of change in the pics (except those with restructure of backgrounds etc.) i am sure these effects can be acheived by many members of local camera clubs who indulge in the pleasures PS brings... Adobe will rule the world one day and the sooner the better.. artistically speeking that is...

I think you right.....as an art form and I choose my word carefully here, to create images you dont need to take photographs......just work with a photographer.

A wizard with photoshop and other generic software ...can scare you.

I've put two of my own examples on my gallery.  One of the girl was a disaster from the word go for various reasons but I decided to see how far I could go to pull the iron out of the fire.  The guy was a person who nearly screwed up a session I was working on.  He gave his camera to another person to "copy" my setup and the result was 5 out of the 7 shots I took had 1 or more people out of the group looking at his camera and not mine.  I did this out of revenge!
