Hey guys n gals

Following the hard work put in by Leanne for the 2008 calendar and a blog I recently put up and bout body image and eating disorders Thorsten Merz and I are trying to see if we can put together a 2009 calendar for BodyWhys the eating disorders association of Ireland. We want models who are happy with their body image to register their interest with us to take part and be photographed. it will be free but you will be published. It is very early days and we will not be going ahead with it unless we get basic sponsoring and support. But we would like to know now who would be up for helping us. Please include in an email to frankie-scott@hotmail.com a picture of yourself (one close up and one full length, they dont have to be professional), your stats, and a brief statement about your opinion on body image/pressure within the media/how you cope/why you are happy or along these lines.

Please note this is not going to be a glamour calendar and the most it will go up to is lingerie. Thanks for your help and Well Done Leanne for 2008!

You know Frankie & Thorsten.....you might have already been down this road of thought but.....,an idea to raise something towards the costs....it may or may not work. 

Photographers that do and those that dont make money from their work could be asked for a donation.   Ie....whatever the amount should be could be decided.

In return a wee section or page with the names of all these photographers are placed showing their support and encouraging those who would be inclined to follow the media model images...that Hey! ..its not neccessary and we  say so.

 A large enough number of togs saying that might also gain a bit of Press PR in itself....a positve step and also to keep the issue in the media.
