This isn't model related but I thought it might interest anybody that's in the Cork area over the weekend of June 20-22.

The Thundercat European Beach Challenge 2008 is set to take place in Youghal, Co. Cork during that weekend and promises to be a fun weekend, particularly for anybody interested in boats.

Youghal is currently bidding to host a leg of the P1 Championship next year (the power-boat racing equivalent of F1 Championship).
