Hi Everyone, I've just sourced a cheaper alternative to Lastolite white PVC background - which I believe is stronger - it's white lorry tarpaulin - has slight grain effect on it - easily lost if you "blow the background" Details..... Comes in 2.5M lengths sold by linear metre - at todays price - I paid £7 per metre - plus VAT - so for a 2.5M wide roll by 6M long - supplied rolled on a cardboard tube and polybagged - it cost £42 plus VAT = £49.35 all in. Obviously I collected mine from Glasgow, but they can ship to Ireland @ extra cost - I could possibly bring 1 or 2 over to NI next visit in Aug if any of you Guys want to buy one and pay for it, I can collect/deliver - providing you don't all ask at once! Supplier.... Tony Beal Ltd, 18 Station Road, Ballieston, Glasgow G69 7UF Tel: 0141-773-2166 Fax :0141-773-2904 Goods description ... 6M x 2.5M WHITE 19oz PVC Blank Tarpaulin. Regards to all, Martin.

Hi Martin,  Is it a creamy white or can it be got as white as the arctic white paper rolls?  I had thought of that stuff but could never find it white enough.  Cheers  John

John,

I'd have said it's white - but I haven't seen the Arctic paper rolls - so I wouldn't know - it's not just quite as bright as the lastolite white - but it's still a real good buy - I came across a portrait photographer in an indoor market at his stand using it, and he told me about it.

Regards,

Martin.
