The topics will include:

2.  Use of softboxes/umbrellas/beauty dishes/reflectors/grids
3.  High key and low key images
4.  Use of several lights
5.  Metering
6.  Q&A session

There will be a quality model in attendance.

Cost is £100 per person and numbers limited to 5 on a first come first served basis.   Please contact me via PM to book a place - a deposit of £25 (non-refundable unless the course does not proceed) is payable in advance  by paypal to confirm your place.

Worth every penny.

If you want to try studio photography this is the way to go, you can't beat practical demonstration and you simply can't learn this from books or off the internet.

To even atempt to teach this to yourself would mean a minimum investment of £300-£400 in lights, meters, background and it's frustrating when you don't know what you are doing.

I wish this had been happening when I was starting out in studio Photography!!

Well done Ross

And Ross is the man for the job in my opinion!

From a model's point of view, it feels much better to know that a photographer really got his money's worth in a shoot because he spent more time working through ideas and shooting rather than having to experiment with lighting (apart form when experimentation is part of the reason for the shoot of course). It also helps a model work better when the pace runs quickly, to stop tiredness and keep the buzz going as it were, except when it's a peaceful (back breaking) artistic nude shoot... eh Thorsten  then one needs to be in meditation mode!

There are a couple of places left on this Course if anyone is interested.   The Studio is 5 minutes walk from Lurgan Train Station which is on the main Dublin-Belfast line.  Or half an hour's drive from Belfast, easily accessible from M1 Motorway.
