Take a look at what photographer Britt McTammany (Astounding Images) does on his site's Stylization page. I personally feel he does some great work, not just in glamour photography, but in car and portrait photography as well. If you follow the links at the very top of the page (glamour, automotive, portraits, compositing, other) each opens into a gallery featuring before and after images (just hover over the images to open the "before" view).

I remember the first time I saw that particular video, what struck me was what a bad hair do she got and she never got smaller feet to match her new frame! It's the little details like this that distinguish the good from the bad!
