Wonder if anyone can advise me what is the best way to get a nive sepia tone on a b&w shot.

I used hue/sat on a photo of my son's wedding which looked fairly good hue=30 sat=25. However my daughter in law had hired a pro for wedding at Gretna Green when she recd the album some of her shots where a nice light brown tone and she is asking can I not get mine like that and at the minute is talking about taking the photo out off album which would destroy it. Can anyone suggest a good method or is it done by solid colour toning?

if any one can help plse let me know?

also need help on Pix 2 Exe as I can't get it to work properly and am using Proshow gold as I find it a lot easier to use!

I use the "Colour Balance" adjustment layer. For toning, I only apply the sepia to shadow detail rather than having a wash across all tones, so click the "Shadow" box, then use RGB values of 20, 10, -10. The strength of the effect can be varied using the opacity slider.
