Looking to find two models for a studio shoot in Dublin in October. The dates are not set, but most likely it will be mid October. The shoot will be paid and as such models will not receive any images from the shoot, however prints will be available for sale afterwards if the model(s) want to purchase any.

I am looking for one model that is comfortable working to art nude levels and a second model for portraitrure/fashion work. Note that the clothing for the fashion shoot may be revealing! There will be a specific theme for this shoot, so a MUA, stylist etc. will be involved.

The shoot will be from 9:30am (sharp!!) through to around 5:30, alternating between both models, with a break for lunch. I'm not interested in hourly rates or entering into any sort of haggling on rates. So if anyone is interested, please let me know which position you're applying for (nude or fashion), your rate for the day (euro rate please) and if necessary include travel expenses in your total.

40 euros per hour at 8 hours is 320. Worse again, 45 per hour works out at 360 euros AND YOU STILL WANT PRINTS ON TOP OF THIS??

sorry i just needed something for myself  i mean the pictures my rate its not fixed as i said in my mail but everybody its telling me that 45 its less than i should ask ... so as i said tell me what its your offert and i am shure we can get to an agreement ..some models just advice me that the rate its different here ...so i thought 45 would be ok ... i am not doing it for the money and i am happy to work with the right photographer for time for prints and cd ... just to clear that ... if still interested drop me a line or send email ..i didnt think rate would be a pb since everybody its charging more ...anyway i dont want to leave the wrong impresion about me since i am new on folio32 ...sorry about that ..

Unica, I admire your determination :) I'd like to make a few points if I may?

In terms of rates, I agree the €40~€45 per hour would be a standard rate for experienced art nude models. However, for these rates, as a photographer I would expect a model that has demonstrated considerable skills and experience in this genre over a long period of time. For a model starting out, such as your self, with no examples of art nude photos, its a crazy price to set!

Whilst quoting an hourly rate is fine, as a photographer, I would certainly expect a discount for shooting up to a 1/2 day and an even bigger one for offering a full days shoot. Quoting a per hourly rate is not the way to go here (in my opinion)

I'm definitely of the opinion that if a model is paid for a shoot, they should not expect and definitely not ask for photos too! Especially when it is clearly stated in the original post.

When you couple all of these together (high rates, no experience, no discount for full days booking and asking for pictures) it definitely gives off the wrong impression.

Perhaps it's due to you being new that you have asked for all of the above (although your profile states you're experienced even though you only have images from one shoot??)? If you are new to modelling and weren't aware of the above, then I apologise for being quite blunt in my reply.However, if you are an experienced model, then I believe you should know better?

hy ciaran since you are answering on the website and forum insted on my email i should clear something out ... its not a stage and we are not the fighters here ..and i dont want this to became a dissagreement in any way .. si i will clear again the facts .. one .. i dont have experience in art nude and nude posing but i would be willing to do it if it has a purpose of any caind meaning a awareness project.. two .. wth oll the respect rate are establish after other models and photographers since i am new to folio 32 but not modelling...its adjustable deppends on the assigtement...3 for the full day i do discount ...4 .. i always have a few pictures if its a pay job i didnt think it would be such a pb ... 4 that beeing said due to your answers and lack of respect providing of the fact you dont know nothing about me and assume i dont have any experience  i dont want to be part of this projects with oll the respect and i just think you dont have to judge peple over its cover even its modelling ...there will be other projects dont worry i hope you find the right person ... i will do nude artistic nude and glamour nude with the right photographer who its treated me with a little bit of respect .. if you dont believe in me we cant be a team so thats it .. thank you for your answers i hope that clears everything ...take care ....
