As you mention it that could be handy at some stage, but I havent had any use for it yet and at the moment it fits quite snugly!
But maybe after some use it might wear down!?

Have you been using the 2 receivers or just one?

I was using the 2 receivers on Saturday, as one light wason the outside of the rail carriage and the other light was opposite and out of view from the flash, I also sometimes need to in the studio when shooting low key, as the strobes photocell doesn't always see the flash if hiddin behind a light stop.

Hi Shane,

Using 2 Receivers is just the same a one, but you are sure that the flash will fire, If you are only buying the receiver i would advise if you can afford it to buy the full kit instead, as its not much more expensive and then you have a 2nd transmitter just incase, it might save you money in the long run,

unfortunitely I won't be going to the meet up in cork, I hope it goes well for everyone involved,

I use the radio units from Calumet and find them excellent, I also use the camera remotes and they work really well.
