I can understand that a site like this imposes a limit on the number of messages, but often people don't know their mailbox is actually full. Can I suggest that once a person has reached their limit, they're some how notified? Its frustrating when you cant contact someone and cant even message them to let them know! The only way is to publicly message them on their guestbook - which is not really the purpose of a guestbook.

Agree wholeheartedly with the views expressed here so far.

It happened to me several times with the same model, and to be frank, I couldn't be bothered re-typing long messages all over again.

That can be a real PITA alright. I generally always have Notepad open when I'm online, because it's so useful as a scratch pad or for making quick notes about sites and site content. If the above happens to me with a long message I simply copy and paste the text into Notepad and either save it for later or send it via email. Simple solution to a simple (if annoying) problem.

There must be a way to turn off the limit or restriction on messages being sent or received, I totally agree its anoying other sites that I use have no limits whatsoever

Yes, there is a way to turn it off. One simply upgrades one's account from Standard to Gold. Restrictions on standard accounts are quite common on other model related sites and as one upgrades one get's more and more features. Fortunately there's no monthly subscription on Folio32; a once off payment is all that's required.

An upgrade in this case doesn't solve the problem. If a fully paid Gold/VIP member tries to message someone whose mailbox is full, their typing is in vain too.. just like us standard members.

I have no problem with a site imposing a limit, but it would be nice to get notification of this limit.

As far as Im concerned, theres no real benefit of upgrading membership. In terms of messages, I prefer to communicate via normal email after initial contact through the site and the ads really arent that intrusive.
