Belfast Tele says as follows:

Ellis, top modelling talent scout will be in Victoria Square, Belfast, this sunday at 3pm looking for the next Irish supermodel for a new RTE tv show...

Anyone going?

I'll be up home in Belfast on Sunday so if I can get the time before I come back I'll try and be there.

There's more on this at the programmes website The Model Agent

Gerry Ryan was talking to someone about this on his show this morning. Basic requirements are that you need to be 16 or older and a minimum height of 5'7".

As far as the discussion on the show was concerned, it will not be like America's Next Top Model in that they intend to treat all participants in the show with dignity and respect, rather than making a show of them, in so far as that is possible within the limits imposed by a reality TV show. Should make for interesting viewing.

As well as being in Victoria Square, Belfast on Sunday they will also be in Dundrum Town Centre tomorrow and the Foyleside S.C. in Derry on Sunday week. If you can't make it to any of these venues, then you can apply online (you need to send in two clear photos).

Anyway, if anyone from Folio32 get's into this, keep us posted.

- Thorsten.

If you go on to the rte website and go onto the programme's website you can download an application for the show and it gives lots of details about what you need and how it all works.
Hope this helps
