I like this image a lot ... it's a great study of the human ( and obviously ) female form. In fact, ( I believe ) the Photographer knew just how to emphasise the Female form by selecting the correct parts of the body that would touch, or be nearest, the ( what I can only assume is ) frosted glass. It accentuates the curves & even frailness of the Female form ( see how delicate the fingers and arm are on the left ), and yet accomplishes all this without even showing us the model's face. I also like the tiniest bit of light falling on the blonde hair at the base of the neck .. just enough to emphasise the colour & length of the hair, but not enough to show detail in the face. Great image !
i know i'm badly in the minority but it does nothing for me at all. I usually wouldn't post a negative comment and i admire Alan's work but i would just like a bit of education from the people who have praised the image and from whoever selected it for the featured gallery as to what makes it a good image. Your comments might help me.
