Husband shop....
Posted On 24/01/2008 14:34:19

A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City , where a Woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:

You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

·        Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs.

She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:

·        Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids .

"That's nice", she thinks, "but I want more." So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads:

·        Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids , and are Extremely Good Looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:

·        Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids , are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" she exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!" Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:

·        Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids , are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:

·        Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for  shopping at the Husband Store.

PLEASE NOTE:

To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street.

·        The first floor has wives that love sex.

·        The second floor has wives that love sex and have big boobs.

·        The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.

Hi folks...

I am back... had a little accident out jogging last Sunday, ended up breaking my arm in 3 places and ended up in hospital for 5 days! Who says keep fit is good for you?

Many thanks to Brendan for keeping this ship afloat in my absence and to the many messages of support received - really appreciated!

I will keep this short as the pain relief drugs give me the attention span of a goldfish!

Cheers

North Atlantic!
Posted On 11/10/2007 15:05:09

From time to time I like to head out with a model to practise some wedding shots and try out ideas I have seen at seminars and the like. I think it is always better to try these ideas without the added pressure of a wedding day – and if it works when you practise you can then introduce it to your coverage on actual wedding days.
One such idea gave from a recent seminar with Trevor & Faye Yerbury entitled “Trash the dress” so after a bit of planning I employed the services of Laura from folio32 to head out for the day to experiment!
Laura had picked up a fantastic wedding dress and I picked up a stunning bouquet of flowers from Norma Craig Designs.  With Laura’s fantastic red hair and the wonderful colours in the trees we headed to a park in Antrim to shoot some autumn wedding pictures. After a bite of lunch we then headed North to Mussenden Temple and then onto the Beech at Benone Strand where the light was simply amazing! And Laura was a star! Without batting an eyelid she was straight into the water and I got a fantastic set of images with her walking along the waters edge and eventually lying in the water! The North Atlantic sure is cold at this time of year!
A very special thank you to Laura for all her hard work, her Mum Catherine for looking after hair and make-up and the B man for his usual excellent assisting!
Watch this space for the final results!

The gang at work!

profiles!
Posted On 20/06/2007 15:58:30

I am delighted with the response to the website so far  - thanks to everybody who has either emailed or phoned over the last 48 hours - one thing that people continually comment on is the quality of the images that are appearing in the galleries  - especially the landscape work - some simply stunning work there.

One thing that is annoying people (and me!) is the lack of info in profiles...

Can we all please make sure to complete the profiles with the basic information such as gender, job and experience - it will become more important as the site grows and visitors are trying to search for models and/or photographers...

To change the settings click on MY ACCOUNT then SETTINGS and then PROFILE SETTINGS

Enter your headline (your headline is the bit that appears at the very top of your profile and will then act as your signature in any messages you post in the forum) and then select from the drop down menu your gender, job and experience.

REMEMBER TO CLICK ON SAVE PROFILE SETTINGS AT BOTTOM OF PAGE TO SAVE THE NEW SETTINGS

You can also fill in any of the sections including Hobbies, About me etc. Any sections that you leave blank will not appear on your profile.

You can check how your profile will look to visitors by clicking on MY PAGE from the sub menu.

Again - REMEMBER TO CLICK ON SAVE PROFILE SETTINGS AT BOTTOM OF PAGE TO SAVE THE NEW SETTINGS

Thanks again for the continued support and lets hope we can build a friendly productive community

Cheers

Paul
