Finished the week off on a high, as managed to squeeze in two shoots - the already mentioned one with Tanya Trianta, and another yesterday at short notice with Peaches - both very different but great shoots, and I can't recommend either model highly enough - thanks to you both ;) - special thanks to Ross, and Jim Kyle for their assistance in a location, and to Gerald, who took time out on a Friday night to go over some possible outside locations for future shoots ( God how I wish I lived in Ireland lol! ) Until my next visit mid-August......
Thanks,
Regards,
Martin.

I'd like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Tanya Trianta for the effort she made yesterday - when I'd the pleasure of shooting her near Dublin - she had endured a 3 and 1/2 hour bus trip before I met her - for which I think she should be applauded! (Bearing in mind she'd have the same journey to endure upon her return home.) Preshoot communication was excellent, she was well organised, and professional, and I'm sure would put many "Pro" models to shame! So thanks Tanya! - just hope the Pics do you justice - you've certainly earned my recommendation ;) Martin.

Having read an article in the Daily Record newspaper regarding Dolphin Activity in The Moray Firth, as I was up in Inverness on business yesterday, I went along to Chanonry Point at Fortrose Invernesshire and took a few shots last night - the best of which I have posted in the gallery. Upon my arrival there were about 20 people on the beach area - I spotted one whom looked like a Pro given the heavy looking tripod, and D3, with 500mm lens along with a Lowepro bag. Anyway we got talking within 5 mins he's offered me a shot of his 200-400mm F4 zoom - worth several thousand pounds - more than my complete kit I had with me - instead of my Sigma 70-200mm F2.8. Then he shows me images on the D3 LCD screen - I was blown away, and as time went on he showed me a load of images in his laptop - absolutely stunning work! and who was this friendly open Photographer? - none other than world famous nature and wildlife photographer Laurie Campbell - I googled him and visited his site.... http://www.lauriecampbell.com/home.htm Thought I'd let you all hear the story and let you see some class wildlife images......
... and sadly the dolphins had a quiet night - feeding deep down, sadder still, I had to give Laurie the lens back!
Regards to all,
Martin.

OMG Chelby, I'm so sorry to hear you got the flu bug or cold/whatever - bet it was that damn pier shot I feel terrible now - warning to other models - don't do topless shots in freezing temperatures!
Get Well Soon Chelby x
Hiya Everyone, I couldn't head back home without thanking Cheryl (blonde_bubbles05), and Chelby for two great shoots.
Both Girls were great to work with, and both brought ideas to the shoot, and handled my (little) direction well.
Cheryl, a relative newcomer was enthusiastic, and we no doubt produced some great images.
Chelby? - what can I say, you've got guts! I wanted that topless shot for ages, we discussed it, and Chelby went for it - in all honesty it must've been about -4 degrees with wind chill factor - but thanks, you pulled it off!
Thanks to Tim for the coffee and use of the studio.
Thanks to Brendan for the laughs as usual, to Lisa and David for coming along, but Lisa you disappointed me - no Fishnets? and you never did tell me......which one was it? ROFL!
And finally thanks to Justin for sharing a beer or two.
See some of you next month for sure,
Regards,
Martin.
Hi everyone, since I'll be at a loose end "all alone" in Belfast on Friday nite, anyone want to join me for a few drinks, and a night out - Models, 'togs, MUA's - all welcome, young and old!. - from say about 10pm?
Thanks,
Martin.
After all the depressing reading, doom and gloom here, I finished the week on a high - after having two great shoots with two very different models.
First up was Steph M, a fun girl, we had a fun shoot, she's a complete fruitcake, with a great personality, brought some good ideas to the shoot. So Guys if you want a shoot with a fun edge to it, book her now, she's your girl!
Thanks Steph, it was a blast xx.
Next up, and after a long drive to Dublin was the shoot with Lili - been a long time coming since we've tried to arrange a shoot since Lili first came on here around November 07.
This girl I believe would put top Pros to shame - her communication was second to none, she'd great ideas which she brought to the shoot, communicated these via email, phoned me on her mobile several time which would class as an International call!
For someone who on paper has limited experience, you'd never know it, she required very little direction and three out of three shots I wanted to try she nailed first time every time!
She'd in my opinion, great looks, great ideas, and of course a great personality!
I don't understand why not many of you Guys over here have booked a shoot with her - We're already talking about doing another. Thanks Lili, you're a Star - I can't wait to shoot you again xx.
Regards to All,
Martin.
