Posted On: 05/04/2008 03:16:17
i said I'd post some shots as soon as I use it well here are a few shots using it. I've already used it for event photography and it wored really well. (And impressed everyone around me. Everyone was like.. WOW What is that!) And I've been using it for model shoots as below and already used it for a magazine shoot so will post it when its out. I'm still testing it at the moment but so far pretty happy. And Yes I know ya'll can do it for cheaper etc. DIY but I am SO CRAP at anything to do with DIY so for me this attachment is cool. I will post more ringflash photees soon. Now my next question, does anyone use those little cute mini softbox attachments on your flashes? I WANT ONE ! ! But I don't know where the best place to get it is. There are some on ebay, but can anyone recommend the best one? I just need to have one they are so cute! I bought 2, they work and are cool.

£29 +vat each, including the flash bracket. These are the same as the ones Lastolite are charging a bomb for. like £90...

I must say that ringflash is fantastic, I worked with Paul Crawford a while back and he was trying to explain to me how brilliant it was at the shoot, but all I seem to remember is seeing stars! The pictures came out amazingly with it and I was well chuffed with the results. Its a funky lil invention.

No, they are third party made....and come for both Canon and Nikon flashes.

Lili

Is there anything cheap price wise with equipment?

Here's the link to the Nikon and also Canon strobe accessories

Yes...a rip as usual....but you would not want to see my DIY versions, believe me!! I have been using home made carboard snoots....but their lifespan is very limited.

Interesting....
