Fashion Photography & Phase One

As a Phase One user, I receive the occassional email from them which often features photographers using their products. But these features are much more than just advertising for Phase One and often give an interesting insight into the work and methods by some of the top photographers in their field.

This evenings email was on a Fashion photography theme and featured work by and about James Russell, Christian Ammann and Peter Svenson. I particularly enjoyed the piece about Peter Svenson. I thought I'd share them here for anyone else that might be interested in fashion photography.

I should have given a bit more info on this. I'm using Capture One 4.1. I must admit, in spite of all the great things people say about Phase One, I'm dissapointed that they seem to have gotten left behind in the raw converter scene, with still no details of when there will be a C1 4 Pro.

I tend to use Canons Digital Photo Pro a lot more than C1 for raw conversions because it's much quicker to use and I get great results out of it. the current 3.3 version of DPP has some useful additions which I've been taking advantage of and while development of DPP still lags far behind other applications, I can't complain because it's totally free and the end result that I get out of it is very pleasing and I guess that's the most important thing. A quick search on the WWW will reveal lot's of other users that hate the workflow in DPP but stick with it because it provides superior output to the likes of ACR and Lightroom.

Thank you for sharing that Thorsten, I'd love to see more photographer profiles like these. Photoicon are supposed to be launching a .TV version of their website and they are looking for reader/viewer content. It should be interesting to see how it develops.
What version of the PHASE ONE are you using?
