Im so happy today, Galway Now magazine is an Irish Publication (obviously!) which hits shelves on the 1st of every month. |Ive been waiting for a full month nearly to put up some shots from the shoot, and now I can!(think it also appears in Limerick now and Cork now) This shoot was so much fun, and took place at NCAD so a big thanks to them for allowing us use of their facilities! One of the students in college even allowed us to use his studio, so some of his artwork appears in the background of the shots!Thanks to Damien Flood for this, and also not getting annoyed with me splashing paint around his studio!There was an "incident", lets leave it at that!! The model Faye is just so stunning. She looks so elegant, and ladylike, so I think Lili picked well!All the clothes that Corina (the stylist)chose for her, just looked so beautiful on her, so its really helped the whole shoot come together. So in February after joining Folio I was booked for a shoot in Rathmines, Dublin with photographer Ciaran! (from folio32)

The two models were uk based Tienne, (whos on folio32,) and Lottie.

Lottie was soo pleasant and such a lovely girl, so snap her up the next time shes over! Tienne has fabulous bone structure, and a great body for the type of shoot we were doing. She looks great with natural makeup, and a soft look, so is also great for those looking for something a bit more natural. (shes also stunning with dramatic makeup!)

 We all arrived early and on time for the early start, and got straight to work! Ciaran was great supplying music, i guess to break the ice a little as well. As part of the shoot was artistic nude, models may be a little wary or cautious choosing who to work with, but I have no hesitation in recommending Ciaran to any models looking for artistic nude shots etc. Hes a great guy, great photographer, and was professional throughout the shoot with no crude jokes or mentioning how "hot" any model looked(which can make girls feel a bit uncomfortable when a male photographer says it). I wasnt actually quite sure what to expect before the date of the shoot, being female Im also a little cautious meeting male photographers from the internet. But Ciaran was really wonderful with the two girls, and understood any slight nerves at the start of the shoot. Its funny, Ciaran had written on his profile that he prefers no chaperones, which may ring alarm bells for some young models. However, this really isnt the case and he is genuine in just wanting to just get the shots done with no distractions. I stayed in studio throughout the shoot for both models anyway, so hopefully that helped ease any nerves the girls may have had!!

So today I joined folio32...wow Im impressed! I didnt know the site existed until it was recommended to me by a photographer yesterday!

So here goes the first blog!

Yesterday was a great working day, working with the wonderful Lili Forberg on two shoots. The first model yesterday was Laura Toogood, who is just such a pro, and wonderful to work with. She has such wonderful ideas for her portfolio updates, which made my job a hell of a lot easier! Cant wait to see the pics, but I know theyre going to look absolutely brilliant!!

Really funny moment of the day was when we were doing a wet look, and I threw a glass of water in Lauras face! Absolutely priceless!!! Still laughing out loud thinking about it now!!! lol

Great to work with Lili, and Laura, really had a great day with them both.
